Writing Update

 I decided to do something a little different this time. Rather than just posting word counts, I’m going to explain what’s happening in the story.

…trying to motivate myself to work on some of these older WIP fics. :)

Long Fics

* Mystery/thriller sequel to Ghost of the Howling Plains (Jazz/Prowl-centric): 16,000 words. (Working title is Pulling Strings.)  Jazz is getting ready to interface. It’s mostly consensual (this time), except he’s dreading doing it.  

* Sequel to The Renegade and the Hound (Bluestreak/Hound, Jazz/Prowl, Smokescreen/OC): 3700 words. (Working title is A Bonding, a Coronation, and a Funeral.) This one’s in two pieces (that is, I’m not writing it chronologically.) In the first piece, Bluestreak is about to arrive back in the Praxian capital for the first time since leaving in After Tempest. In the second piece, Smokescreen is showing his best friend that he’s interest in being more than just friends. (Eyebrow waggle.)

Short Fics

* Thing I’m not writing: 10,000 words. (sigh) (Working title is something like Solar Flare or A Flash of Sun.) Sy is about to Drift with Sun Streaker. Oh yeah, I’m going there.

* Next installment in Sparkr series (Starscream): 5000 words. (Working title is Peer Review.) Starscream is about to frag and is just wishing his partner would get on with it already.

* Song fic (Champion): 500 words. (Working title is Champions.) The twins are about to find out what they’re going to be facing.

Planned/Pondering

Sequel to The Renegade and the Hound, runs concurrent to one being written right now (Twins)

Sequel to the sequel omfg muse finish one story before working on the next three? (Mirage)
