Writing Update

 Well, I didn’t get a huge amount of writing done while we were away, although I did get a lot of “mental” writing done. 

However, I did make progress on a few things! 

Sequel to The Renegade and the Hound  (Bluestreak/Hound, Jazz/Prowl, Smokescreen/OC): 5400 words. I also did a lot of mental writing on this, sketching out the plot points I need to hit.

Song fic (A Thousand Years): 4400 words. However, I didn’t get that one bit rewritten, so that still needs to happen.

I also started two new stories, one of which was posted here:

What Friends are For. 1500 words. This is an “extra” story for Pulling Strings. It still needs some cleanup but it’s probably close to its finished format.

Reciprocity. 2300 words. At some point during the trip, my muse decided that it wanted me to write a heat fic.”You’ve never written one! It’ll be fun!” and instead of letting me focus on one of my WIPs, all I could think about while we drove was this stupid story. XD So I guess I’m gonna get this one done before I work on anything else.

So, 4200 words written while I was on the road, plus another 2300 after we got home. (I needed to dump as much of that heat fic out of my brain as I could.) Not too bad! ^.^
