Setting up shop

So, with the recent changes to Tumblr I am looking for a new home for all my writing stuff.

I am slowly copying over things from Tumblr that are writing-related: writing progress reports, head canons, answers to asks from readers, stuff like that. I'm not copying over the stories that were posted to Tumblr, since most (all?) of them were eventually posted to AO3. But some of those old Tumblr posts had things like photos of palces that inspired a story location, or a full filk that I wrote for a story. I wanted to have someplace to save those, and link to them from the stories. :)

The old stuff is being backdated to when it was originally posited. This is mostly for my own use but also so I don't spam people's reading lists!

Anyway, I will likely be splitting my blogging time between here and Pillowfort for a while. I was an LJ user a zillion years ago so I am very familiar with the interface here (and have posting software to help me make posts!) That, combined with the server issues Pillowfort is having, makes this site a bit more attractive to me at the moment.

We'll see how things go. But in the meantime, writing continues. :)
